Why is my direct deposit missing? ›

Check with your income provider to be sure they have the correct account and routing numbers for you on file and ask about possible delays on their end. Also, consider any recent or upcoming holidays that could affect the timing of your deposit.

How long does direct deposit take? The exact timing to receive your direct deposit depends on two main factors: your bank and your employer's payroll software. There's also the role of the Automated Clearing House (ACH), the electronic funds-transfer system that facilitates transactions in the U.S.

A direct deposit payment may be returned automatically by the payee's receiving depository financial institution (RDFI) if the payment cannot be posted because the account is closed, the payee is deceased, or other reasons.

Common reasons for placing a hold on a check or deposit include but are not limited to: Accounts with frequent overdrafts. New customer. High-dollar deposits that exceed the total available balance in the account.

Under Billing, click Payment History. Select the invoice from the list of invoices on the Invoices page, or to find the particular invoice, enter the invoice number in the Search field.

Select a bank. Select a bank branch. If the bank that you select does not have any branches defined, the Add Account Details page appears instead of the Select a Branch page. Add additional account details, such as the account name, account number, and currency code.

Banks are required to make direct-deposit funds available for withdrawal not later than the business day after the banking day on which the bank received the electronic payment. For instance, funds direct deposited on a regular, non-holiday Monday would be available by Tuesday.

When we receive a direct deposit, it'll be reflected in your Transaction History. With a Current Account, we'll release your funds as soon as we receive your direct deposit. If you don't see the deposit reflected in your account, then we haven't received it from your employer or provider yet.
