2XKO continues to roll through its Season 0 Early Access run, and with it comes balancing for the roster as the developers take feedback and learn more about which characters are doing fine, which ones need help, and which are a little too strong. Patch 1. 0. 3 rolls out this week, and with it will come nerfs for Teemo, Ekko, and Yasuo. Ekko and Yasuo may actually be a bit harder to use, but it remains to be seen if these nerfs will have a substantial effect on Teemo, who has been a top performer. Riot Games announced the details of 2XKO Patch 1. 0. 3 with a set of patch notes to go with it. For characters, Ekko arguably got the wost nerfs. The pressure of his Chronostrike assist has been nerfed. It now has gaps if used twice, its range has been reduced so it doesn’t go full screen, and it can be parried. The Timewinder and air Timewinder were also nerfed with increased start-up, less lingering effects, and reduced blockstun to name a few. Bottom line is Ekko is likely to have a harder time controlling the screen after this patch., Teemo’s nerfs mostly focused on making his supers a lit bit easier to deal with. Riot Games also made changes to his Yordle Hike that should make it a little harder for him to do mix-ups on opponents, but it’s not much for a character that has been dominating the meta. Players like SonicFox are unconvinced it will do much to reduce Teemo’s overall threat.
