SCOOP: Shah Rukh Khan’s King becomes India’s costliest action film at Rs. 350 crores with 6 MEGA action sequences!

**Shah Rukh Khan’s King: India’s Most Expensive Action Film at Rs. 350 Crores**

Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film *King* is growing bigger and better by the day. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this action thriller has pulled off one of the biggest casting coups in recent times and is touted to be the biggest action film in Indian cinema history.

**Massive Budget and Grand Vision**

Reliable sources have confirmed that the budget for *King* is estimated to be around Rs. 350 crores. This figure excludes additional expenses for print, publicity, and other ancillary costs that SRK and his team may decide to invest.

Initially, *King* started as an action thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh, with Shah Rukh Khan making an extended cameo. The original budget was much smaller, around Rs. 150 crores. However, when Siddharth Anand joined the project, he collaborated closely with SRK to scale up the film to an unprecedented level.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “*King* started as an action thriller with an extended cameo from SRK, with Sujoy Ghosh as the director. The initial budget was Rs. 150 crores only, but the script had scope to go bigger and better. When Siddharth Anand came into the picture, he sat down with SRK to make the film on a grand scale, by designing action sequences on a never-before scale.”

**A Visual Spectacle**

Known as a producer who spares no expense to deliver rich visuals and cinematic spectacle, Shah Rukh Khan gave Siddharth Anand a free hand with the film. The director returned with a massive project costing Rs. 350 crores, promising unparalleled action and grandeur.

The source added, “SRK saw the vision of Sid and was spellbound by the stuff he had thought. *King* is a global film made in India. What takes millions of dollars for the West to execute, Siddharth Anand is aiming to do the same at one-fifth the cost. The film has six extraordinary action sequences, designed to perfection. Three of them are shot at real locations, while the balance three will be canned on sets.”

**High-Stakes Action and Star Power**

A considerable portion of the budget has been allocated to SRK’s introductory sequence, which is touted to be one of the major highlights of *King*. With six mega action sequences, each crafted meticulously, the film promises jaw-dropping moments that will set new benchmarks for Indian action cinema.

**Production Team and Release**

*King* is directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Gauri Khan and Mamta Anand. The film is scheduled to release in 2026.
