Shraddha Kapoor has truly owned 2024 with her power-packed performance in *Stree 2*, the highest grosser of Bollywood to date. Recently, she stole the spotlight at the trailer launch of the 2025 Diwali release *Thamma*. Since *Thamma* belongs to the same universe as *Stree 2*, Shraddha graced the occasion and impressed both fans and critics alike with her trademark style.
Now, she is all set to appear in front of the media once again on Saturday, November 8. Earlier today, mediapersons received an invitation confirming that Shraddha Kapoor will be present to make a special announcement. The only additional detail mentioned was that the event is being organized by Star Studio18. This sparked curiosity among the media, eager to find out what the announcement could be.
Shraddha’s next film, *Eetha*, recently went on floors. The movie is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and directed by Laxman Utekar, known for *Chhaava* (2025). Many assumed that Star Studio18 might have come on board as a partner for *Eetha*.
However, Bollywood Hungama has learned that the November 8 event at a Mumbai multiplex has nothing to do with *Eetha*. A reliable source revealed, “Shraddha Kapoor has dubbed for the Hindi version of Disney’s highly awaited animated film, *Zootopia 2*. This will be the announcement made at the event.”
The source added, “Shraddha Kapoor has a lovely voice and has probably never dubbed for a Hollywood film before. Moreover, as one of the top stars with a huge fan following among kids and families — the target audience for *Zootopia 2* — she was the perfect choice for the role. Shraddha was on board immediately.”
Shraddha’s association with Disney is nothing new. She was a Disney heroine before, starring in *ABCD: Any Body Can Dance 2* (2015), and had a fantastic experience working with the brand. This new collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios for *Zootopia 2* has made her very happy to reunite with the global entertainment giant.
*Zootopia 2* is the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster *Zootopia*, which tells the story of a rookie police officer rabbit and a con artist fox joining forces to uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of predators. The original film was a massive success and earned over $1 billion worldwide.
Interestingly, *Zootopia 2* is not the only animated film in Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming projects. She is also a part of *Choti Stree*, another film that belongs to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
