BOSTON (WHDH) – The holiday season has officially begun at Quincy Market!
A stunning 50-foot tree arrived in Boston on Wednesday, delivered by Quincy Market’s longtime partner, the family-owned Egan Acres Tree Farm in Cadillac, Michigan. To achieve a picture-perfect, full shape, the tree was built using branches from two additional trees.
This magnificent tree will soon sparkle with one mile of twinkling lights and dazzle visitors with more than 900 ornaments.
The official tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 22, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., between Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. 7NEWS’ very own Amaka Ubaka will be emceeing the festive event!
Guests can also enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and pastries provided by Bakey, and take home a festive ornament from Christmas in Boston to commemorate the occasion.
Don’t miss this magical start to the holiday season in the heart of Boston!
