Marvel Games lead teases likely collaboration with Insomniac Games past Wolverine

By all accounts, the partnership between Marvel Games and Insomniac Games has been going swimmingly. Together, they have delivered three successful Spider-Man games, and the highly anticipated Wolverine title is already on the horizon. Given their track record, there’s little reason to believe their collaboration will end after Wolverine’s release.

Marvel Games general manager Haluk Mentes recently spoke to Game Informer about the relationship between Marvel and Insomniac, offering glowing praise. Even as they continue working on Wolverine, which is slated for a fall 2026 release, Mentes expressed enthusiasm about the strong partnership they’ve built.

Of course, Insomniac is just one part of Marvel Games’ expansive strategy. The company has been branching out into various genres and platforms, showcasing its flexibility and broad appeal. From the NetEase hero shooter *Marvel Rivals* to the digital card game *Marvel Snap* by Second Dinner, and even indie titles like Dotemu and Tribute Games’ beat-‘em-up *Marvel Cosmic Invasion*, Marvel Games is embracing diversity in its game development partnerships.

Mentes expressed pride in Marvel Games’ success in spreading its brand across different types of games and developers. He welcomes even further diversity from the array of developers collaborating with Marvel, signaling a vibrant and dynamic future for Marvel Games.
