Disney Dreamlight Valley reveals new details for Wishblossom Ranch and what’s next

Earlier this year, Gameloft teased the next big expansion for cozy town-builder Disney Dreamlight Valley. The first teaser for Wishblossom Ranch seemed to point to some exciting new features, including rideable mounts. On Wednesday, the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2025 Showcase Stream looked at this new expansion in more detail, giving more of an idea of what to expect and who players will be able to meet. As indicated by the first teaser, Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Valley introduces horses. Players can make friends with these horses just as they can with other Valley residents, but the difference (beyond offering an alternative for walking) is that horses can assist with various functions like gardening, mining, and cleaning. Horses are capable of more, but players will have to deepen their bond with their furry friends through regular feedings, brushings, and by petting them a whole lot. Three horses can be found over the course of the expansion. They are Khan from Mulan, Pegasus from Hercules, and Maximus from Tangled. A fourth mount, Sven from Disney’s Frozen, can be picked up with the Deluxe Edition. Additional mounts are expected to be available down the road. As far as a new storyline, Wishblossom Ranch’s narrative will take players across the Wishing Alps, Glamor Gulch, and Pixie Acres. Along the way, they’ll meet Snow White, Tinker Bell, Tigger, and Cruella De Vil while also discovering new animal companions and some fresh crafting options. While the new expansion will be sold for a standard price, Gameloft also has some free content lined up for all existing Disney Dreamlight Valley players. The Winter Ball is set to begin in November and introduce characters from Disney’s Cinderella along with pumpkin crops and a new Dream Team feature that incorporates fellow Dreamlight Valley players. Cinderella herself and the Fairy Godmother will come to the Valley in this new update, each with their own friendship and storyline quests. The Winter Ball will be available to all players on Wednesday, December 10 at no extra charge. Finally, the development team revealed a fresh roadmap for 2026. The first part of the year is teasing scenes from Lady and the Tramp, the Spring season appears to be pointing to Pocahontas, and the Summer season will take players to the Greek pantheon and the world of Hercules.
