The aircraft landed safely, and all passengers were disembarked without incident. The bird strike was detected after the plane had touched down at the Chennai airport.
Following the incident, the aircraft was grounded for thorough inspections. Air India engineers conducted extensive checks to assess any damage.
As a precaution, the airline has canceled the flight’s return journey.
