**US Appeals Court to Reconsider Louisiana’s Ten Commandments Law**

A US appeals court has agreed to reconsider Louisiana’s controversial Ten Commandments law, which it previously struck down. The law required the display of posters or framed versions of the Ten Commandments in K-12 schools and state-funded colleges across the state.

In a related note, a slab displaying the Ten Commandments is prominently situated just north of the Capitol in Austin, Texas.
