Detroit Lions receiver and returner Kalif Raymond suffered an apparent head injury during the first quarter of the team’s NFL Week 5 game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium.
The injury occurred after a collision with Bengals player Samaje Perine on a punt return. Raymond remained down on the field following the play, raising concerns among fans and teammates.
Fortunately, Raymond was able to walk off the field under his own power, heading toward the blue medical tent for evaluation. Updates on his condition are expected as the game progresses.
