MANILA, Philippines – June Mar Fajardo has once again solidified his legacy in Philippine basketball by capturing a record-extending ninth Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
The San Miguel Beer star received the prestigious honor during Sunday’s PBA Leo Awards held at Novotel Manila in Cubao, Quezon City.
Fajardo amassed a total of 3,041 points, which were calculated based on his season statistics and votes from the media and fellow players. This impressive tally allowed him to surpass strong contenders, including NLEX’s Robert Bolick and a former NorthPort gunner.
With this latest accolade, Fajardo continues to demonstrate his dominance and outstanding performance in the Philippine Basketball Association.
