National University arrived at University of Santo Tomas’ home floor armed with something that two previous Tigers opponents didn’t have: familiarity with Collins Akowe.
Standing at 6-foot-8, the Nigerian big man is a product of the NU high school program. Over the course of two games, Akowe bulldozed his way to an impressive average of 24.5 points and 18 rebounds.
His dominant performance has been a key factor in powering the Growling Tigers to success.
