**Varun Dhawan Reveals He Got Drunk for ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’**

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan recently shared an interesting behind-the-scenes story from the set of his movie *JugJugg Jeeyo*. In a candid interview with Pinkvilla, Varun revealed that he and his co-star Maniesh Paul began drinking alcohol in the morning to convincingly portray drunkenness for a key scene.
Recalling the climax scene with veteran actor Anil Kapoor, Varun explained, “During that climax scene with Anil sir, when they are renewing their vows, I get drunk and give a speech. So we were supposed to be drunk. We started at 7:30 AM. Maniesh and I started drinking in the morning, and by 2:00 PM we were slurring.”
The actors’ morning drinking session led to some unexpected challenges on set. Varun revealed that due to their genuine drunkenness, they couldn’t complete the scenes as planned. “The next day, the shoot continued, so we had to drink again,” he shared.
Fans can look forward to watching Varun Dhawan’s performance in *JugJugg Jeeyo*, which showcases his commitment to authenticity in acting.
Varun will next be seen in *Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari*, a film featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf in pivotal roles. The movie is set to release in theaters on Thursday, October 2.
