**Microsoft Appoints Chia Wee Luen as Managing Director for Singapore to Drive Digital Ambitions through Cloud and AI**
Microsoft has announced that Chia Wee Luen has joined the company as Managing Director for Singapore, succeeding Lee Hui Li, who laid a strong foundation for Microsoft’s growth in the country.
With over two decades of experience in enterprise technology, Chia brings a wealth of expertise in strategic leadership, customer transformation, and regional growth. At Microsoft, he and his leadership team will focus on advancing Singapore’s digital ambitions through cloud computing and artificial intelligence, accelerating cutting-edge innovation to foster inclusive transformation.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Chia began his career in Singapore’s public sector and has held senior leadership positions at Red Hat, Qlik, and Oracle. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Asia at ServiceNow. Beyond his professional roles, Chia also contributes to the community by serving on the Digital and Technology Committee of the Children’s Cancer Foundation and chairing the Tech for Good Committee of the Singapore Computer Society.
Chia’s appointment marks a strategic step for Microsoft as it aims to accelerate digital transformation in Singapore and the broader ASEAN region through innovative cloud and AI solutions.
