Guide To Emptying The Mind And Finding Peace

Mind is total when it is integrated with all realms and dimensions of life, in existence. A mind is generally scattered in pieces because our perceptions—which create illusions—are scattered as well. A whole mind is achieved when you allow these pieces to come together in unison, giving rise to peace. Such a mind becomes whole and holistic.

Mindful may not always be better than mindless. An empty mind is actually not junk; it is full of the light of awareness. Empty the mind and mind the emptiness—this could be the fundamental precept in mind science.

The mind can only be present in the past or the future. Haven’t we heard in school, “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop”? A contrarian perspective from ancient mystical science and philosophy suggests that we should also rest the mind. Just as legs need rest from walking, the mind needs rest from working.

In current moment awareness, there is only seamlessness—spontaneity or, perhaps, intelligence on tap from the cosmic mind or intelligentsia. When the mind dwells on the past or the future, it goes in circles, causing us to miss the multidimensional perceptions of its true capabilities. When we move from the circles to the center, the mind settles.

When your mind is present, you are not; and when your mind is not, you simply are. Each time we return from the circle to the center, a new meaning arises; perspectives deepen, perceptions become more profound. Various layers of life’s understanding come to the fore, enabling us to synthesize information, process it efficiently, and take a central view of life.

The power of the mind is the most powerful tool human consciousness is gifted with. This power, together with your imagination, can create success or failure, happiness or unhappiness, opportunities or obstacles. Calm down. Breathe out your anxieties, resentment, hurt, pain, grudges…transform your experiences from fear to freedom.

The science of attention states: put your attention into the field and energize it; then put your intention into it to transform it. Your mind can create a magnetic field, and with the intensity of your thoughts, you can manifest almost anything you want. Mind is magic!

A human becomes awakened when he or she keeps the mind empty of all illusions (junk), the material world, and everything that fragments or distorts. Not all thoughts carry the same power. Stray thoughts you think once or twice don’t affect you much, but your predominant thoughts—the ones you entertain often—will certainly influence your behavior, attitude, actions, reactions, and responses. Thus, your thoughts will change your reality.

When your mind becomes overwhelmed with unpleasant, non-creative, or destructive thoughts, it is time to take a recess. Your awareness directly translates into the power of the mind. With deep awareness and relaxation, coupled with even a flicker of intention, one can become a “Harry Potter”—mastering the art of manifesting reality.

Meditation is one such method: a methodless art of being, watching the invisible domain of infinity. It is the art of seeing. A running mind can’t be a stable mind; a chasing mind can’t be an able mind. The equation of equanimity only comes in “Shoonyata” (emptiness).

Everything seeded in your subconscious gets manifested in your reality. The Zeroth state is where you slow down, pause, stop. In this domain, insights, foresight, and intuitions are born. Once in deep meditation, one can master extrasensory perceptions, multisensory perceptions, and access multi-dimensional realms of existence.

A complete mind, a total mind, is an enlightened mind—a mind of infinite possibilities. This is the path to absolute freedom, or “Kaivalya.” Only humans can transcend all boundaries and blur lines of separation.

It’s important to empty the mind and mind the emptiness—or, should we say, empty the mind and allow it to be filled with the light of purity and spontaneity. Man can become one with super consciousness. When the mind dissolves into light, it becomes a state of complete illumination.

After attaining absolute light, when Buddha was asked, “Who are you?” he simply said, “I am awakened.” A fully awakened human chooses when to breathe their last. Thereafter, they may choose to be a fragrant flower, a sweet fruit, a colorful butterfly, or simply let go of it all and become an eternal witness to the cycles of life, chaos, disorder, disease, decay, and death—simply being centered.

Spiritual audacity comes from the mind’s synchronicity. It is humanity’s privilege to experience divinity. On the ladder of evolution, only humans can rise above gods or fall below animals.
