MANILA, Philippines — Alas Pilipinas displayed its world-class caliber, finishing in 19th place out of the 32 nations in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship. The team’s players were also recognized among the top performers in the elimination round.
Despite narrowly missing the round of 16 after a heartbreaking loss to Iran, the Philippines showcased remarkable skill and determination throughout the tournament. This performance marked a significant improvement and demonstrated the country’s growing presence on the international volleyball stage.
