Japanese organizers have admitted that public awareness of the upcoming Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya “needs to be higher.” With just one year to go until the start of this major sporting event, efforts are being ramped up to generate more interest among the public.
The 2023 edition of the Asian Games, held in Hangzhou, China, was the largest in history. Delayed due to the pandemic, it featured around 12,000 athletes, making it the biggest Asian Games ever in terms of competitor numbers.
As the countdown begins for Aichi-Nagoya 2026, organizers are focusing on increasing visibility and excitement to ensure the event receives the recognition it deserves.
