The woman’s death, which occurred just a day after she arrived at the emergency department, has prompted immediate action from Health NZ.
In response to this tragedy, Health NZ has decided to roll out a national sepsis education plan.
This initiative aims to raise awareness and improve early detection of sepsis across the country, ultimately saving lives and preventing similar incidents in the future.
