Controversial Kick streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has spoken out after spending more than nine months behind bars in the Philippines.
In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday (Jan. 20), Vitaly delivered a brief message upon his return to Russia. “Just landed in Russia. It’s -34 [degrees] Celsius, and your boy is headed to the frontlines,” he said, laughing. “I’m free, baby!”
Vitaly also shed light on his experience in the caption, writing, “After 290 days in the Philippines jail with rats, cockroaches, and +35 Celsius weather, I am finally free. They really tried to break me but it built me. Out of the 290 days, I spent 91 days in complete isolation. They wanted me gone but I’m here, all glory to GOD!!!”
The Philippines’ Department of Interior and Local Government held a press conference last week confirming that the streamer would soon be deported back to Russia after completing his sentence.
“Let this be a reminder to all our visitors here in the Philippines that while we welcome tourists and treat them with respect, we also expect them to follow our laws, just as we do when we travel abroad,” Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said during the press conference, which was attended by an unrecognizable Vitaly.
“We have no ill feelings against Vitaly,” Remulla continued. “He has served his time, shown remorse, and is now a free man when he returns to Russia.”
Vitaly was arrested for his behavior in a Kick stream titled, “Vitaly DISTURBING THE PEACE in Philippines 😈,” in which he can be seen harassing locals, security guards, and a traffic officer.
