The Patriots still have to face off against the Houston Texans on Sunday. However, if they secure the win, New England will officially know who awaits them in the AFC Championship game.
On Saturday, the Buffalo Bills and the Denver Broncos competed in the first game of the Divisional Round. The game went into overtime as neither team wanted their season to end. Ultimately, there could only be one winner.
That winner was the Broncos.
With Denver pulling out the victory, the AFC Championship game will take place at Empower Field at Mile High. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS.
