CHICAGO (WLS) — Two men were shot, one fatally, inside the basement of a home Saturday on the city’s Northwest Side.
The shooting occurred around 2:52 p.m. in the 4900 block of North Harding Avenue in Albany Park, Chicago police said.
The victims, a 24-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were in a basement residence when both were shot by an unknown offender, police confirmed.
The 24-year-old victim was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The 29-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the foot and was taken to a hospital in fair condition, police said.
No further information is available at this time as Chicago police continue to investigate.
