Highguard developer Wildlight Entertainment has announced a new 5v5 game mode for the popular first-person shooter, and it’s available now. This update follows strong audience feedback, as players voiced their desire for a larger player format.
Wildlight revealed Highguard’s new 5v5 mode with a brief trailer on social media, accompanied by the message, “You asked, we listened.” Since the game’s release this past Monday, the three-player format has been one of the main points of criticism. Many players suggested that increasing the player count would create more engagements and intensify the action.
The 5v5 mode will be available as a limited-time event running through this weekend, giving players a chance to experience the expanded gameplay. Additionally, today’s update introduced a new base called Soul Well, which players can select at the start of a match.
