I hope everyone had a nice holiday season and managed to rest up during the winter recess. Here at The Stevetendo Show, we all enjoyed a nice vacation and are now ready to hit the ground running.
Tonight, on the program, we’re diving back into our Super Mario Galaxy 2 playthrough. It feels like it’s been a few months since we last played, so it might take me a level or two to get the hang of the controls again. In the last episode, we made our way to World Five, so we’re making pretty good progress. There are still plenty of comet medal missions to complete, so we definitely have our work cut out for us. Only time will tell if we’re close to finishing the game!

If you’re looking for a New Year’s resolution, I’d suggest watching The Stevetendo Show and the other great Shacknews programs even more than you already do. When have I ever steered you wrong?
In all seriousness, 2024 is already shaping up to be a banner year for gaming, and it’s only January 5. Titles like Animal Crossing, Mario Tennis, Resident Evil, and many more exciting games are on the horizon.
I’m also considering making some minor tweaks to The Stevetendo Show’s format. For example, I’m debating making Shacker’s Choice night the last Wednesday night stream of the month, and retro night the last Tuesday night of the month. Stay tuned for updates!
Keep sending in your suggestions for new games you’d love to see on The Stevetendo Show. If it’s on the Nintendo Switch 2 or available on the Nintendo Switch 2 Online service, it could land a starring role in an upcoming episode.
You never know when Nintendo will add something new to the Nintendo Switch 2 Online service, so stay tuned. The new year could bring classics like Pokémon, Rad Racer, and Donkey Kong to Switch Online.
