After many weeks of underwhelming performances, this weekend’s box office looks set to be one of the biggest of the year. Audiences continue to flock in the millions to watch Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo reprise their Academy Award-nominated roles as Glinda and Elphaba in *Wicked: For Good*, as well as the debuting Walt Disney Animation Studios sequel, *Zootopia 2*.

### 3. *Mickey 17* (2025)

The revolving door of streaming arrivals and departures is ever-turning, with one of the best new Prime Video options coming from the brilliant Bong Joon Ho. *Mickey 17* follows Robert Pattinson’s titular character, Mickey Barnes, a man who rushes to take the chance to become an “expendable” on a suspicious mission to colonize space as he runs away from a terrifying secret.
One of Pattinson’s best performances is joined by eye-catching turns from the likes of Mark Ruffalo and Steven Yeun in perhaps one of the most underrated movies of the year. Sure, *Mickey 17* is no *Parasite*, but this satirical dark comedy, packed with memorable moments and a gripping ending, is sure to keep you thoroughly entertained throughout.

### 2. *Arthur Christmas* (2011)

With this being the last weekend in November, it’s high time we started our Christmas viewing. Sarah Smith’s *Arthur Christmas* follows the high-tech operation run by Santa Claus on the North Pole, and the unthinkable happens when he accidentally misses out a child during his yearly global delivery.
Stepping up to save the day is his youngest son, Arthur (voiced by James McAvoy). A cozy festive flick with all the trimmings, *Arthur Christmas* is wonderful viewing for the whole family. Boasting a stellar voice cast including McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Bill Nighy, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton, and more, *Arthur Christmas* might not be the first yuletide movie that comes to mind, but it’s certainly one worth your valuable Christmas time.

Yippee ki yay, it’s time to watch *Die Hard*! The 1988 Bruce Willis action favorite follows the Hollywood icon as veteran New York cop John McClane, whose trip to visit his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) at her Nakatomi Plaza skyscraper Christmas party coincides with the arrival of a team of terrorists led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman).
*Die Hard* remains a classic action film and an essential watch for this weekend.
