The Learning Tree has been absent from AEW television since April 2025 and has been speculated to make his return to the Stamford-based promotion, reportedly for a retirement tour and Hall of Fame induction. Moreover, Jericho has been fueling rumors for months by dropping hints about his return. On the recent edition of Keepin’ It 100, Konnan said that Chris Jericho always kept things close to the vest. He once again retracted his previous statement that Jericho should go to WWE and believed he might already have a verbal deal with them. Should that happen, Konnan believed that Jericho could make more money, battle fresh and younger talents, and even square off against some of his old rivals.
