Thank you to South Hancock Elementary School. It was a thrill to attend the Veterans Day program organized by Principal Jennifer Howe, her staff and students. The warmth and friendliness of the staff and the excellent conduct of the children made the event really nice. When it came time for the students’ program, they knocked the ball way out of the park. Their singing and leading of songs were pretty amazing. The smiles on their faces and their devotion and enthusiasm nearly brought tears of joy to my eyes. If that type of teaching and leadership continues there, at home, and in the community, we can look forward to a brighter future. Add in the excellent breakfast, and it made for a super day.
