Wallace scores 20 as Little Rock beats Ball State 68-62

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) — Cameron Wallace played a pivotal role in leading Little Rock to a 68-62 victory over Ball State on Saturday, scoring 20 points off the bench. Wallace was highly efficient, finishing 10 of 14 from the floor for the Trojans, who improved to 2-2 on the season.

Braxton Bayless contributed 17 points, shooting 7 of 10 from the field, including a perfect 3 for 3 from beyond the arc. Although he went 0 for 3 from the free-throw line, Bayless also grabbed five rebounds. Johnathan Lawson added 14 points, shooting 5 for 13 overall, including 2 of 5 from three-point range, and made 2 of 4 free throws.

On the Ball State side, Armoni Zeigler led the Cardinals with 15 points and three steals. Davion Hill chipped in with 11 points, while Cam Denson contributed 10 points and two steals. Ball State also held a record of 2-2 coming into the game.

Little Rock secured the win after a decisive 10-0 run early in the second half erased a one-point deficit and gave them a 57-48 lead with 8:49 remaining. Wallace scored 12 of his 20 points in the second half, helping the Trojans maintain control down the stretch.
