Since its launch on October 30, one map in Arc Raiders’ rotation has remained locked. That’s about to change. The mysterious “Stella Montis” map will soon be available to players following a community event designed to unlock it. And when players arrive, they’ll have new Arc enemies to contend with — and they don’t sound friendly.
The new community event kicks off tomorrow, November 13, 2025. Here’s everything you need to know.
Developer Embark Studios has revealed what’s in store for Arc Raiders’ first major post-launch content update and community event (h/t IGN). While details about the specific activities players will engage in during the event remain scarce, the developer promises “rare resources, new gameplay items, and potential weapon blueprints” as rewards.
The event will introduce its own currency called “Merits” and will only be available until December. Once unlocked, the Stella Montis map will feature an exclusive Arc enemy known as the Shredder. Embark Studios describes this threat as one that will force “Raiders to stay sharp in close-quarters encounters.” This should be welcome news for players tired of facing drones and rolly enemies that simply explode.
In addition to the Shredder, the “Matriarch” Arc is being introduced as a “hulking Arc that makes the Queen look friendly.” Sounds like players will have their hands full.
