FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) — Davin Wydner led West Georgia to a 24-17 victory over North Alabama on Saturday night, throwing two touchdown passes and helping his team shut out the opposition in the second half.
Wydner connected with Bryce Dickerson on a 41-yard touchdown pass and later found Owen Dupree for a 20-yard scoring strike to cap off the game.
In addition to Wydner’s passing success, Latrelle Murrell contributed significantly on the ground, rushing for 128 yards and a touchdown to help secure the win for West Georgia.
