**Taylor Swift Misses 2026 Grammy Nominations Due to Eligibility Deadline**
Taylor Swift, despite having one of the biggest album releases of the year, did not receive any nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards. Her latest album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, was not eligible for consideration as it was released after the eligibility deadline.
The album dropped on October 3, 2025, while the eligibility period for the 2026 Grammys runs from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025. This means *The Life of a Showgirl* will be eligible for the 2027 Grammy Awards, which cover releases between August 31, 2025, and August 30, 2026.
Although Swift wasn’t nominated this year, she did play a role at the ceremony as a presenter. She presented the Best Country Award to Beyoncé. Swift herself was nominated previously for *The Tortured Poets Department*, but did not take home any awards.
Currently, Taylor Swift’s focus is on promoting her new album, preparing for her upcoming wedding, and enjoying the football season with her fiancé, Travis Kelce. Fans can also look forward to her Disney+ documentary series on the Eras Tour, set to release next month.
Regarding touring plans, a recent source told *Us Weekly* that Swift is not planning to tour again immediately after completing her Eras Tour last year. “Taylor’s not ruling out another tour, but it’s not something on the immediate horizon,” the source said. Another insider added, “She’s prioritizing her life balance with Travis.”
