**#5. Mercedes Mone’s Rival Momo Watanabe Announces Sudden Hiatus from Wrestling**
STARDOM star Momo Watanabe has announced she will be stepping away from in-ring competition due to a knee injury. The former Wonder of STARDOM revealed her difficult decision during an interview with Mera Wrestling earlier this week. Watanabe has been struggling to manage her injury for several months but said she has now “reached her limit.”
> “I’ve been trying to manage it, but it seems I’ve reached my limit. I’m not at my best right now. That’s why, even though I’ve been giving my all with this knee, I don’t think I can become the strongest until I fix this knee. So I’m going to take a break for a while, and then I’ll come back stronger,” she shared.
Watanabe, who is a major rival of AEW star Mercedes Mone, plans to challenge Saya Kamitani—the current World of STARDOM Champion—when she returns to the ring.

**#2. Triple H Takes a Subtle Shot at AEW, Praises WWE’s Storytelling**
WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H, recently made comments that appeared to subtly criticize AEW’s creative style. Speaking on the All-In podcast ahead of Monday Night Raw, Triple H discussed WWE’s storytelling approach, emphasizing the importance of story over match quality—without directly naming AEW.
> “We tell stories. I’m less—and people within our business sometimes take this wrong—but I don’t—we don’t write the shows based on, ‘That’ll be a great match.’ We write it on the stories that we can create. The protagonist, the antagonist—how does that work with each other? Telling stories that can resonate with people, that maybe they’ve experienced in their real life, some type of fantastical version of that,” he explained.
