Google (GOOGL) reports $10.261 billion of YouTube ad revenue in Q3 2025

Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has released its Q3 2025 quarterly earnings report, showcasing growth across various sectors—including a strong performance from YouTube.

YouTube has once again surpassed the $10 billion mark in ad revenue, bringing in $10.261 billion for the most recent quarter. This marks a significant increase from $9.8 billion in the previous quarter and $8.9 billion at the same time last year. Earlier in 2025, YouTube also recorded $10.473 billion in ad revenue during Q4 2024, highlighting its consistent strength in the market.

“Alphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business,” said Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar Pichai in the Q3 2025 earnings report.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the rise in YouTube’s ad revenue can be attributed to its dominant position in the sharing of TV revenue in the U.S., outperforming other streaming services. YouTube has maintained its lead over competitors such as Disney and Netflix for several months, with the gap continuing to widen.
