If somebody says to you during the game ‘fight me after the game,’ you’re going to look at him and be like, this isn’t the WWE. This isn’t the UFC. What are you talking about—the game? It was 40-9, emotions are high. Why are you saying anything to me? All these tough guys that want to be tough.”
The Bills entered the game desperate for a bounce-back performance after back-to-back losses and delivered in a big way, controlling the contest from the opening whistle.
Looking ahead, a much tougher challenge awaits Dawkins and his teammates in Week 9 when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs visit Buffalo. Both teams are competing for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Historically, the Bills hold a 4-1 advantage over the Chiefs in regular-season matchups between Allen and Mahomes, but they have yet to secure a playoff win, with a 0-4 record.
