Adam Pearce has recently come under fire from several WWE stars, who have publicly questioned his fitness to serve as the RAW General Manager. Most notably, Kofi Kingston has continued the campaign initiated by Xavier Woods to highlight Pearce’s shortcomings in his leadership role.
Kingston criticized Pearce for using profanity on social media, specifically pointing out a recent repost where Pearce mocked Woods for allegedly “whining” while on vacation. In the post, Pearce called out Woods’ ability to “talk sh**” and added that he would see him when he returned to work. Responding to this, Kingston condemned Pearce’s behavior, calling him a terrible example of a leader and suggesting that Pearce should fine himself. He stated, “He’s also using profanity on this social medium. Terrible example of a leader. He should fine himself.”
Further fueling the controversy, Kingston commented on a post by Pearce in which Pearce expressed hope that Xavier Woods’ boat would sink. Kingston used this as evidence that Pearce was not maintaining the impartiality expected of someone in his position. He accused Pearce of hypocrisy, saying, “This is proof positive that this man is NOT an unbiased party, when he should be. But ‘love somebody’ — can’t even take his own advice.” Kingston also tagged Pearce with the hashtags #BaldHeadedTyrant and #BaldHeadedHypocrite.
Adam Pearce’s tenure as RAW General Manager has been marked by tensions with multiple WWE Superstars. Several wrestlers have openly expressed their dissatisfaction with Pearce’s leadership style. Chelsea Green, now on SmackDown, is known for her dislike of Pearce. Drew McIntyre has also voiced frustration, accusing Pearce of favoritism towards certain wrestlers. Similarly, both the New Day and Grayson Waller have made public allegations against Pearce’s conduct.
As the RAW General Manager, Pearce’s role is pivotal in managing interactions among WWE talent. However, these ongoing disputes suggest a growing divide between Pearce and many of the stars he oversees, raising questions about his effectiveness and impartiality as a leader.
