How to Customize Your HUD and UI in Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 offers hundreds of settings to customize your gaming experience, from graphics and audio to controls and more. Among these, there is a robust suite of options to tailor your HUD (Heads-Up Display) and UI (User Interface) to fit your personal preferences, physical needs, or any other reason. Here’s a detailed guide on how to customize your HUD and UI in Battlefield 6.

Customizing Your Crosshairs

Crosshair customization options can be found in the Graphics settings under the Icons & Indicators section. By selecting Edit, you’ll open a screen where you can adjust various settings, with color options providing the most dramatic impact.

This level of detail is important because crosshairs and damage indicators are among the most commonly seen icons in Battlefield 6. While the default colors work well for most players, the game gives you plenty of freedom to change how these visuals appear.

Using the palette available via the Crosshair Color selection, you can pick any color on the spectrum. The large square on the left displays all shades and saturations of the base color you choose from the vertical bar on the right. To adjust the base color, drag the double arrows up or down on the bar. Within the bigger square, you can select colors ranging from bright white to deep black and all shades in between.

You can also customize your hit markers in the Hit Indicator section, which uses the same color selection system. Additionally, this customization screen lets you modify your crosshair’s thickness, opacity, intensity, and how hit numbers are displayed. For even more personalization, you can change damage colors for both infantry and vehicle hits.

Customizing Your HUD

Battlefield 6 provides two main screens where you can adjust your HUD’s look and functionality:

  • Advanced HUD Settings – Located under Graphics: Interface and HUD, this section offers a wealth of options to tweak how on-screen elements behave during matches. You can customize elements such as the opacity of your map overlay, minimap size and rotation, and even the color of your eyesight cone. There are also dedicated options to personalize your kill feed.

Near the bottom of the Advanced HUD Settings screen, you’ll find color palettes for your vehicle’s on-screen displays. While these options aren’t extremely detailed, they do allow quick on-the-fly adjustments to better suit your tastes or needs.

  • Main HUD Settings – Found in the main Graphics menu under Interface and HUD, here you can toggle off specific HUD elements such as overlays or HUD movement effects caused by physics interactions. One interesting feature in this section is the SOVIS filter, which appears to affect how visible enemy players are during matches. It’s generally recommended to keep this feature enabled.

Changing Color Profiles

One of the more subtle but valuable UI customization options in Battlefield 6 involves the color profile settings, designed to accommodate colorblind players or those who want a different visual style for their interface.

You can find these color profiles in the Accessibility menu within the Graphics Quality Settings. There are five presets available:

  • Default – The standard color set of the game.
  • Deuteranopia – Designed for players with red-green color blindness.
  • Tritanopia – Tailored for blue-yellow color blindness.
  • Protanopia – Another form of red-green color blindness adjustment.
  • Custom – Provides access to the same shade and saturation palettes used in other color customization screens, allowing you to create your own profile.

Choosing a color profile is entirely up to you. While some prefer sticking to the default settings to avoid unusual color interactions, exploring different profiles can enhance your ability to identify important information on the battlefield.

Feel free to experiment with these settings to discover what works best for your gameplay experience.
