We experienced the opposite problem from the homeowner below—we had rats in our walls once. It was awful. We couldn’t sleep because we could hear them moving inside the wall behind us at night. Thankfully, that’s all behind us now. Honestly, we would trade rats scurrying for mysterious wall meowing any day!
But even if the sound is as cute as meowing, it’s still pawsitively concerning. Meowing coming from inside the walls usually means something is stuck there, and you’ll likely have to tear down at least part of the wall to get it out.
After two days of not knowing where the meowing was coming from, the tenant called a maintenance crew to check it out. They discovered a four-week-old kitten stuck back there—but they couldn’t get it out.
So, he took matters into his own paws. With the help of a few friends, he managed to rescue the cute kitty from the wall. Now, the kitten is safely being cared for.
Soon, the little feline will be vaccinated, dewormed, and ready to start living his fluffy life to the fullest. And it’s all thanks to a hammer and some wet food!
