HONG KONG (AP) — A cargo aircraft skidded off a Hong Kong airport runway into the sea while landing early Monday, resulting in two confirmed deaths.
The flight, which had arrived from Dubai, was landing at Hong Kong International Airport at around 3:50 a.m., according to the airport authority.
Four crew members on the plane were rescued and have been taken to hospital. However, police reported that initial information suggested two people in an airport ground vehicle were confirmed dead.
