**Week 6 Fines Highlight Discipline Issues for Titans, Raiders**
The Week 6 matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans resulted in several players facing fines due to penalties incurred during the game. While it wasn’t the most aggressive game of the season, a number of illegal hits did occur, prompting the NFL to issue monetary penalties.
For the Raiders, starting linebacker Elandon Roberts was fined $16,888 for an unnecessary roughness penalty involving the use of the helmet in the second quarter. The Titans, however, took the brunt of the fines with three players being penalized, all for unnecessary roughness.
Linebacker Dre’Mont Jones was fined $11,593 for a facemask penalty. Starting defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons received a $12,172 fine for striking, tripping, kicking, or kneeing. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was hit with the largest fine of the game, totaling $23,186 for use of the helmet. Tennessee was the only team with three separate players fined in Week 6, signaling a need for significant clean-up in their discipline on the field.
Amidst the aftermath of the loss and fines, the Titans have made a coaching change. Head coach Brian Callahan was fired, and Mike McCoy has been appointed as the new head coach. There is hope that McCoy’s leadership will help the team play a cleaner and more disciplined style of football moving forward.

**Raiders Set to Face Rashee Rice and the Chiefs in Week 7**
Looking ahead to Week 7, the Raiders will face a much tougher challenge as they travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. To add to the difficulty, wide receiver Rashee Rice is returning from suspension and is eager to get back on the field.
“This week was really big. It’s been a while since I got to play in a regular-season game with my guys, so I’m very excited to go out there and compete,” Rice said on Friday.
Despite being sidelined for over a year, Rice has maintained his readiness and enthusiasm. “I’ve been looking forward to this for probably 380-something days. Even in the offseason, we trained super hard to prepare. It’s been a long time coming, and now that time is finally here,” he shared.
During his time away from the game, Rice also gained a deeper understanding of himself. “I learned that I love the game of football, probably my second love after that. But more importantly, I realized how strong I am mentally, being able to face a lot of adversity,” he reflected.
