Wild Zones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A are the perfect places to catch new Pokémon. Scattered throughout the city, these zones offer a variety of Pokémon to discover. However, not all Wild Zones are available from the start of the game.
If you’re curious about how many Wild Zones exist in total, you’re in the right place. By the end of the game, you will have access to **20 different Wild Zones**. Each zone features unique Pokémon that can appear in different locations within the zone and at different times of the day. Visiting a Wild Zone once doesn’t mean you’ve seen everything — there’s always more to explore.
### Unlocking Wild Zones
To access all 20 Wild Zones, you’ll need to progress through the main campaign. Here’s a breakdown of when each set of Wild Zones becomes available:
– **Wild Zones 1 through 6:** Accessible from the start of the game
– **Wild Zones 7 through 10:** Unlock after Mission 9
– **Wild Zones 11 through 13:** Unlock after Mission 14
– **Wild Zones 14 through 15:** Unlock after Mission 19
– **Wild Zones 16 through 17:** Unlock after Mission 24
– **Wild Zones 18 through 19:** Unlock after Mission 30
– **Wild Zone 20:** Unlocks after Mission 38
