The Phoenix Suns have been active in the waning days of their 2025 preseason and training camp.
According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Phoenix has decided to cut veteran guard Jared Butler. This move comes despite Butler’s impressive performance, where he scored 35 points, dished out nine assists, and grabbed seven rebounds in a 113-104 victory over a depleted Los Angeles Lakers squad on Wednesday.
In another roster decision on Friday night, the Suns opted to retain second-year guard Jordan Goodwin on their 15-man standard roster as they head into the 2025-26 regular season next week.
