Currently, he is collaborating with producer Dinesh Vijan on *Cocktail 2*, starring alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon. The film is presently shooting in Italy, with reliable sources confirming that the shoot will wrap up by December. Producer Dinesh Vijan aims to bring *Cocktail 2* to the big screen in the summer of 2026.
Following *Cocktail 2*, Shahid Kapoor is set to dive into the second season of the popular OTT series *Farzi*. Bollywood Hungama has exclusively learned that Shahid will begin shooting for *Farzi 2* in January 2026. A source shared, “*Farzi* is currently in the writing stage. Amazon Prime, along with creators Raj & DK, are excited to start filming the second season early next year. Shahid has allocated six months for the shoot and is receiving a lucrative pay cheque for his work.”
The source further revealed, “Shahid Kapoor is drawing Rs. 40 crores for *Farzi 2*. This is the biggest pay cheque of his acting career so far, a result of the immense appreciation received by the first season.”
*Farzi 2* is expected to be a major project for Amazon Prime towards the end of 2026 or early 2027. Insiders confirm that the second season will be even bigger and more ambitious than its predecessor.
