Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett has returned to work following a brief hospitalization caused by a car accident in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The accident occurred while he was filming an untitled Netflix series.
### Details of the Accident
The incident took place around 1:00 AM at the intersection of New Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue. The SUV Hartnett was traveling in collided with a Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) patrol vehicle. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.
Hartnett, the 59-year-old driver of the SUV, and a police officer involved in the crash were all transported to the hospital. Fortunately, according to the RNC, all three sustained only minor injuries and were released following medical evaluation. An investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.

Despite the accident, Hartnett has continued to work on the Netflix series. A source close to the production revealed that the actor was returning home from the set at the time of the crash.
The show, created by Jesse McKeown, centers around a fisherman who discovers that his isolated town is haunted by a mysterious sea monster. The series stars Charlie Heaton, Mackenzie Davis, and Hartnett himself. Production began in August.
