**Horrific Incident in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh: 4-Year-Old Child Fatally Attacked**
A shocking and tragic incident was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district, where a 4-year-old child was brutally attacked and killed. The horrifying attack took place on Friday morning in the Dhoolbahedi locality of Aali village, under the jurisdiction of Kukshi police station.
According to police reports, the child, identified as Vikas, son of Kalu Singh, was playing in the courtyard of his residence around 10:30 AM while his mother, Sona Bai, was working inside the house. Suddenly, the accused, Mahesh Maida, a resident of Jobat, entered the premises on his motorcycle and launched a fatal assault on the child using a sharp weapon.
The attacker struck Vikas on the neck and hand, resulting in the child’s immediate death, as his head was severed from his body. When the mother rushed to intervene and save her son, she was also attacked, sustaining injuries to her shoulder and arm.
Villagers hearing the screams quickly rushed to the scene, but the accused had already fled. The police arrived promptly, cordoned off the area, arrested the accused, and seized his motorcycle.
Sona Bai revealed that the accused had been roaming around the village throughout the morning on his motorcycle. The motive behind this brutal attack remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
Kukshi police station in-charge Rajesh Yadav confirmed that a sharp weapon was used in the attack. An FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team was called in to collect evidence, and legal action is underway as the inquiry continues.
Authorities have urged anyone with additional information to come forward to assist in uncovering the reason behind this horrifying incident.
