France’s Outgoing Justice Minister Urges Tougher Response to Antisemitism

France’s outgoing Justice Minister, Gérald Darmanin, has called for a stronger response to antisemitism. He has asked prosecutors to open systematic investigations whenever they are notified by an elected official or civil servant about an antisemitic act or statement.

This move reflects growing concern over antisemitic incidents in the country and the need for more decisive legal action against such acts.
