Four IDF Soldiers Killed, Three Wounded in Rafah Explosion
Although the area had been previously checked using various techniques, Hamas has sometimes proven adept at placing IEDs between security checks.
The IDF announced the death of four soldiers as a result of the explosion in Rafah on September 18, 2025. In addition to the fatalities, three soldiers were wounded in the incident.
